Insurance Broker Survey for Sterling Insurance
1st May 2009: Sigmer has successfully completed the 2009 survey of brokers for Sterling Insurance Group.  Sigmer's Survey Suite on-line survey achieved a high response rate and followed on from recent staff survey and client survey for the group.

BBC Pensioners' Association publishes prestigious report outlining survey results
30th October 2008: A report by the BBCPA has been published as a result of surveying over 3,000 of their members in celebration of their 20 year anniversary. Using Survey Suite, a combination of our powerful online survey software and survey consultancy services, Sigmer assisted in the design and overall production of both the paper and online surveys, and also the collating of all the data.

The BBCPA decided to conduct a survey of their members and potential members to find out how life was treating them since they left the BBC and to discover how they thought the BBC was coping without them. The survey was a great success and the report displayed examples of the entertaining, insightful and, sometimes, emotional responses.

Incentivise launched at Call Centre Expo, NEC
18th September 2008: Sigmer had a fantastic response to their Incentivise product launch at Call Centre Expo, NEC this week. Both show visitors and press alike were impressed at the product, and we had a great time exhibiting at the show.

Sigmer develops Readership Survey for one of Japan’s largest banks: Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ
16th June 2008: Sigmer has used its Survey Suite products to develop a survey for the Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ to help the bank understand what the readers of its currency reports like and dislike about the publications. The on-line survey has been very successful with a high response rate from central bankers and currency experts throughout the World.

Sigmer's Survey Suite off to a great start with a new client: BBC Pensioners' Association
30th May 2008. Sigmer has been invited to work with the BBCPA to conduct a survey of members in celebration of the 20th Anniversary of the Association. With Sigmer’s Survey Suite of products, the BBCPA are able to gather valuable information quickly and easily using both online and paper questionnaires.

Sigmer develops a revolutionary web-based service for Scottish & Newcastle UK
24th April 2008. Sigmer Technologies today announced it has designed and developed a revolutionary web application for S&N, the UK’s leading brewer and distributor.

The final product,, is a free, rich and fully-featured internet website where bar managers can get advice on optimising sales from back-bar space and quickly produce custom fridge plans for their bars, that take into account the demographics and characteristics of their outlet.

Sigmer successfully conducted a user profiling study to provide S&N and Sigmer with an in-depth understanding of the intended users of the fridge planning tool, to achieve fully the primary design-aim of providing a web application that is simple and easy to use for bar staff, while carrying out complex rule-based processing behind the scenes.

Sigmer develops case management system for a recognised leader in risk management
29th February. Sigmer has developed an integrated case management system for Risk Advisory (RA), an acknowledged leader in risk management. RA's Employee Screening service wanted to introduce an enhanced service to clients providing online self-service facilities, including allowing clients to view cases as they progressed through the screening process. Working closely with RA staff, Sigmer developed a case management system that provided case-workers with an efficient work flow to manage the cases throughout the case life cycle.

Sigmer's extensive experience in the development of database applications, allied to a robust development methodology, resulted in the delivery of a case management system that met all RA's requirements.

Sigmer donate over £6,000 to bibic in 2007
31st December 2007. The end of 2007 sees a year of fund raising for bibic come to a close for Sigmer. bibic has been our supported charity since Christmas 2006, and in total we are thrilled to have made a contribution of over £6,000 to the organisation. 

Our support for bibic started at Christmas 2006, when instead of purchasing Christmas gifts for clients, Sigmer made a donation of £3,000 to bibic; the amount required to support a child at bibic for 1 year. Staff then got behind the initiative and took on a number of fund raising campaigns to raise more money for bibic. A mixture of raffles, marathons, cake sales, competitions and other efforts resulted in over £1,500 being raised by Sigmer staff.

Lastly, for Christmas 2007, Sigmer again made another donation to bibic in lieu of purchasing gifts for clients. This time, the donation was used to contribute towards bibic's capital build short-break centre project.

Together, this brings our total contribution to bibic to over £6,000. Sigmer staff have thoroughly enjoyed supporting bibic, and we look forward to supporting our new charity in 2008 - The Martlets Hospice.

Legal & General Share Corporate Social Responsibility Knowledge with Sigmer
23rd August, 2007. Legal & General, the U.K.'s leading life insurance provider, has been committed to CSR for over 25 years. Frances Borrer, Communications Manager, Community Involvement at the Hove office, kindly donated her time to meet with Sigmer to share her knowledge of fundraising in the community.

Sigmer initiated its support in the community strategy in 2006 by supporting BIBIC as its charity of the year. Sigmer is extremely grateful to Legal & General for sharing their considerable knowledge in this area, and look forward to growing their community support strategy.
